European Transport Safety Lunches

ETSC's Transport Safety Lunches are the site for openly debating promising and successful European approaches to prevent transport accidents and injuries. They bring together decision makers from the transport sector in Brussels, thus establishing a platform to exchange information and views for all those interested in transport safety.

Following a buffet lunch, the invited experts provide the audience with an insight into innovative transport safety work. The debates will explore possibilities of how key actors can develop the political and organisational leadership that it takes to implement effective safety schemes.

European Transport Safety Lunch: Young and Novice Drivers
Thursday, the 28th of November 2013, 10h30 -13h30, Renaissance Hotel Brussels
ETSC invites you to its next Transport Safety Lunch addressing young and novice drivers, who face some of the highest risks on the roads.

In the context of the EU 2020 road safety target, the event will look at specific measures targeted at young and novice drivers. These include tighter blood alcohol limits, stricter demerit point systems or provisions for accompanied driving while still acquiring experience.
