The Lithuanian National Association Helping Traffic Victims (NPNAA) is a non-governmental organisation established on the 25th of November 2005. The Association members are natural and legal persons from various towns and regions of Lithuania. At present, the organisation consists of 150 members. The Association headquarters are located in the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, whereas representative offices are located in different province towns.
The objective of the Association is to work together with civil society for the purpose of carrying out advocacy work in the area of safe traffic. The Association’s main objective is to promote European best practice as well as to arrange campaigns proposed by the Association members.
The Association has a strong focus on children and young people and participates in traffic education in preschool and school institutions.
