- Road Deaths Cut by 50 % in Sweden since 2001
Sweden embodies the reason why we think that ambitious targets should be set. Sweden has the lowest traffic mortality in Europe, and this was also the case in 2001. We see the perfect example that road deaths can be cut in any country, regardless of the starting point, said Antonio Avenoso, ETSC Executive Director.
