VOICE Child Road Safety Awards

The VOICE Awards for child road safety have been shared by Denmark and Germany (positive) and Greece and Italy (negative).

Denmark and Germany have scored highest for their child road safety policies amongst the 18 countries assessed, while Greece and Italy have scored lowest, according to a major review of child safety policies in Europe by the European Child Safety Alliance, EuroSafe.

Launched on 20 November 2007 in the European Parliament in Brussels and in the participating countries, the review assessed the extent of proven safety measures for children and adolescents by examining over 100 evidence-based national child safety policy actions. It also identified priority issues and corresponding good practices to prevent accidental injuries and to save more children's lives.

The Awards take the form of original cartoons dy Dagmara Pater.
